Fearless

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah
Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV)

JW knows
personally that it is very easy to give into fear. We fear the dark, heights or spiders. We fear failure, losing someone, and death. We might fear the future or the past. Fear can be useful when we are in danger, but fear that paralyzes is not a healthy fear, but a debilitating fear. The Bible says, " For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 1Timothy 1:7 (NKJV).

The next time you are fearful of something that is blocking your path remember you have a refuge in God (Psalm 46:1). Use his tools to become a fearless person (power, love and sound mind) and shove fear aside.

So inspiring. Thanks. I've been missing lots of my blogs lately. The kids and grands have had me hopping.
