Thoughts

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.


And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.


Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Phil. 4:6-9 (NIV)


JW's thoughts:
Thought patterns influence the way we live our life. If our thoughts are anxious, we live an anxious life. If we entertain anger, we live a life filled with anger. Paul says to focus on what is wholesome and true. It's important to stop telling ourselves lies. It's important we protect our minds. Let God's peace guard your hearts and minds this week.

  7. Oh sweetie, you'll never know how much I needed this wonderful reminder right now!

    Without goin' into much detail my dad is in very critical condition. I had a real tough kids church yesterday. I has a little gal I've had since two and as one might say, "we've come a long way baby. Because of a divorce yesterday was the last time I will see her. Angel is really not doin' well and as soon as the kiddos left my helper and I just lost it!!! My heart is heavy and you wrote the exact words I needed to hear. Thank you sweet sister! :o)
