God Breathed

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

JW's thought:
I'm not a Bible scholar, but I am a woman of faith and I use the word of God for instruction, direction, and wisdom. I’ve learned that whatever I’m facing and questioning, God has an answer for me…if I am open to him.

Timothy spoke of continuing to learn because we have confidence in our source. God’s word is equipped to answer our needs and requires no human interpretation (there’s really no confidence there) but instead, is a perfect power on its own. How do I know? God’s word was here before anything. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

God’s word is powerful, is God breathed…is God.  My confidence.

Teresa, you've got that right. I've found a little prayer before I open the scripture will take me directly to the right passage my troubled heart needed.
