The Big Mac

A man from Wisconsin recently finished his 25,000th (hee hee that sounds funny) Big Mac. Yep, he started in 1972 and ate two a day for most of those years. He’s supposedly healthy. Read more about it here.

This made me think of a Stephen King quote. “I am the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and Fries.”

Two thoughts: I’m hungry and I bet more people eat Big Macs than Caviar.

Hi Teresa .. yugh! I rarely have one .. if I'm travelling back a long distance, and have had a long day ..then I might stop and have one - that's enough for another x years!

When Wimpy opened at Waterloo Station in London - a treat for us kids was to go there for lunch and then a film in the afternoon .. a day out! then back to the country ... now greater London.

I'm not hungry - but I agree with your other thought .. cheers Hilary

Oh, the pleasure of a Big Mac!!! I am lucky to be forty-five minutes away from that temptation so I am safe.

I do have the recipe for the sauce!
Hilary, I'm like you, I eat one-- ever so often. I always feel terrible after, but that doesn't stop me the next time.

Gail, My nearest McD's is 5 minutes away, but it is no temptation. I'll say no more. wink wink.
Is this like the Subway diet? Because I'll take Subway any day. When I go for the fast food burger, it's always the Burger King Jr. Whopper with no mayo, extra pickles. I don't think I've ever had a Big Mac.

I'd rather read King's literary equivalent daily than have the real thing. But I don't mind McD's every now and then, though the extent of my order is a cheeseburger, keeping it lite.

I like McD's once in a while, but TWO big Macs a day! Wow. I hope he's got a cardiologist on speed dial. :D
Well, I wouldn't want to eat caviar, but it's been years since I had a Big Mac.

Yuck! I don't like Big Macs (or any other fast food hamburgers for that matter). Don't like caviar either. I do however think Stephen King is a genius :)
