"Keep scribbling! Something will happen." Frank McCourt

Sometimes in the middle of our circumstances we might need to be reminded we are always on God’s mind.

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore." Psalm 121 (NIV)

Have a blessed week knowing that you are not alone!

  1. Teresa, that's one of my favorite psalms. Thank you.

    Another one I love is psalms 73. I love the writer, Asaph, candidness about his being discouraged and almost losing his faith because of his disgust with others claiming to serve God. The psalm is an arc of faith just about lost to it being regained and his thinking that brought him to the renewal.
