A Thought

I thought of something this morning. When an elder dies, of course a family changes, but so does a community.

It must.

My Daughter-in-law's dear grandmother passed last evening. A heavy cloud of sadness is over her family. Facebook is already showing she will be missed.

It absolutely does. When my grandmother died at 94, it was a real comfort to know how much the community had valued her (she was a schoolteacher for many years.) Hugs to your daughter-in-law...I know how she must feel.
I'm sorry! Prayers for your family.
Thank you Elizabeth and Alex.

A death of someone like this often has unexpected repercussions and opens our eyes to things and relationships we never knew. Sorry for this loss.
