Don't Worry

At work this week, I heard some talk about worry and anxiety. We worry. To me, worry is about creating thoughts that helps nothing. Who changes anything by worrying? And who can stop bad things from happening by worrying?
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.” Corrie Ten Boom
God is very clear about worry in a Christian’s life.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7 (NIV)
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
Worry will steal your peace. Don't worry.
Have a great day! ~~JW

God is in control anyway, so why worry?

Sometimes it's hard not to. But it is God's best for us, isn't it? Thanks for the reminder.

I agree. I'm not perfect at this (not even close) but I'm trying to get better. When I start freaking out, I just take a deep breath and ask for God's help.

I totally agree...I've always heard 'Worry is an insult to God!' just cast your fears and doubts upon Him and all will be well....

Yes. Worry is the least productive of human activities. I tell myself that all the time, and then I worry that I'll forget!

What a wonderful quote. I had not heard that but it makes perfect sense, the Boom quote.

I have heard the Bible message and it makes such perfect sense...why do we not listen?
