Knocked Off Your Feet

There are many people in my community and the U.S. who have been knocked off their feet last week because of storms.
Two things I am certain of:
·         God is bigger than any problem that we lay at his feet.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  John 16:33 (NIV)

·         All trouble experienced, in our earthly life, is used to perfect us for eternity with God.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV)
No experience is wasted. No tear forgotten. No pain is unnoticed.
But, we need to listen for the whisper of hope in the storm to get us through. It's there.

It is horrific to hear of these storms. Australia is once again floating away in floods. Our world seems to be in torment, whether in the natural world or the political world.

God help us. He won't test us more than we can bear, although many would be questioning that...

PS So you signed up for the A-Z. Very alluring isn't it?

Yes, Teresa, what an awesome God we have...for God giveth and He taketh away...but HE is always in our presence....
Our troubles here pale next to the glory that awaits us. We need to remember that no matter how bad it is here, this is the worst it will ever be for us.
Well said sweet sister.

God bless and have a beautiful day! :o)
