Death by GRIEF

I am participating in the Blogging from A-Z Challenge again this year. What is this mysterious blogging challenge you ask? Arlee Bird from Tossing it Out came up with this fantastic idea where bloggers post using consecutive letters of the alphabet for 26 days in April. It grew in numbers, and Arlee now has many helpers. To view other participates of the A-Z event click here.

Odd deaths happen, right? It’s sort of like being at the right place at the right wrong time. My A-Z 2016 blogging journey takes us down the road of Death by Oddity. Come join me.

G = Death by GRIEF

Emory Potter’s heart must have broken when his little daughter, Mary Ann, ill from a severe infection after her appendectomy, said, “I wouldn’t mind dying if only Papa would go along with me.” Three hours after his daughter’s death, Mr. Potter died of a heart attack. The story is here.

I get it!

So sad! And I hear so frequently of spouses who've been married for decades who die within days of each other.
Yeah, it does seem the spouse dies shortly after the other one. Especially if the wife dies first.

Sad story. I've also heard (and know of two cases) were spouses have died shortly after each other, as well as pets that have died shortly after their owners died.

Very sad. I know I won't survive long when my husband goes, which hopefully will be a long long time from now.

That is odd. That had to be so horrible for the rest of the family.

Well, I feel bad for the surviving wife and son who lost two people in their lives like that.
