Death by ZORBING

I am participating in the Blogging from A-Z Challenge again this year. What is this mysterious blogging challenge you ask? Arlee Bird from Tossing it Out came up with this fantastic idea where bloggers post using consecutive letters of the alphabet for 26 days in April. It grew in numbers, and Arlee now has many helpers. To view other participates of the A-Z event click here.

Odd deaths happen, right? It’s sort of like being at the right place at the right wrong time. My A-Z 2016 blogging journey takes us down the road of Death by Oddity. Come join me.

Z= Death by ZORBING

Denis Burakov died after he rolled off a cliff in a Zorbing accident. Zorbing is where participants climb inside a “transparent plastic” orb or sphere and roll. If it’s done on a flat plain then there is more control. Not so much down a hill. The story is here.

Note to self, stay away from Zorbing. You are not a hamster.

And that’s a wrap, folks, for the A-Z Blogging April Challenge AND Death by Oddity. I have a question for you. Be it a normal death or an odd one, what will your famous last words be?

I hope I'll go with a chuckle and a smile onwards and upwards - cheers Hilary

I've seen this done on water but not on land.

That is an odd death. Congratulations on finishing the A to Z Challenge. I have to say, I've learned about some odd deaths through your post. Not sure what my last words would be, hopefully they'd be good ones. :)

I've seen those balls but I didn't know the name of it. Looks like fun but definitely not on a hill with a cliff at the bottom.

Yeah, that is something that you wouldn't think would be wise to do near or on any hill.

I had no idea until reading your recent blogs of the various ways to meet one's demise. Strange, funny, sad. Your writing as always brings a smile to my face. Hugs, B

Good note to self! I'm in no danger of Zorbing any time soon, but thanks for the warning. And thanks for the entertaining, often shocking posts about ways people can die. It has been one full month of "OMG!" for me.
It's a wrap!
Congrats on reaching the finishing line.
Famous last words? Not sure. I'll have to think about it.

Only the Great Mystery knows what my last words will be or if they will be worthy of being uttered. Hopefully, I will be Enoch and just translated from one footfall to another. Hey, I can hope. :-)
Just found your blog for A to Z today. Enjoyed. I like snakes, too. My last words will probably be, "It's just a bad case of gas." The Bookwright.

I had a pet rat and had a plastic ball she could roam around in. Can't imagine doing that myself though and now I really don't want to. LOL
Congrats on finishing the challenge.
Ok I guess I can cross zorbing off of my bucket list :) Congratulations on the completion of the A-Z challenge.

People think up some really weird things to do and when they die from it that's not good.

You had a wonderfully entertaining theme this year. I think A to Z ways to day must have been a first. Great job.

Congratulations on finishing the 2016 Challenge.
