Praising: A Sunday Reflection

In the most difficult times of my life, when I'm blaming God for things going wrong, God remains unchanged. My faith may waver, but God's faithfulness is the same. He's sturdy.

Praising God when life is turned upside down seems counterintuitive. When he says to praise him during these times, it is difficult for me but necessary if I want to find peace for my mind, soul and body.

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100

Be assured that God is for you not against you. Praising him shows our love, devotion and faithfulness to him even when we can't see past life's trials.

Blessings,
Teresa

In all things give thanks. Tough to do, but only then can blessings come.
I am so very glad that your faith brings you comfort.
