Last Chapter of Summer

A chapter in time

where flowers sprout, then grow to prime

where storms will bend

the strongest beauty, then stand

a little faded, a little worn

for one last blooming glory

before summer finishes

and the chapter ends. But the memory will linger.

these flowers are really adorable

Thank you! They are the annuals in my garden and sadly will not come back on their own next year. But they are pretty.
