The Sky

I'd forgotten that I took this photo in between the storms on May 22, 2011. At that time, I didn't know how hard Joplin had been hit. It was an eerie sky.

What I don't want to forget, however, is how the survivors have lost so much and how they will have to rebuild their lives.

That *is* eerie. Even more so knowing what had just transpired in Joplin. It was such a horrific spring!

Even though it is a bit eerie, it is also an amazing photo. It looks as though there's an explosion off in the distance and in fact I guess there had been one of sorts.

BTW, thanks for stopping by my other site. :)

Nor should any of us want to forget! There but for the grace of God, go I. The Sky does tend to give us warnings, we just don't always pay attention.

Eerie seeing that, knowing what happened.

You captured a great photo. It reminds me of the peace of God amidst the storms of life. Such a tragedy for so many people, and they truly need that peace and loving support.

Beautiful and eerie. Prayers for the folks in Joplin, and other places hit by natural disasters.

Hi Teresa .. skies can be incredibly powerful - I saw some fantastic ones in South Africa, and we have some magnificent ones here .. but they can have that aura of nightmare about them .. Love this barred photo ..

But you're right so much damage to so many .. but worse for those in poor areas of the world ..

With thoughts to all in troubles .. Hilary
