 I always feel blessed to live in this great nation, the United States of America. Although, we have our share of hard times, we always come out stronger and (I believe) better as a nation.  America was built on the idea that God blesses America and that America trusts in God.  I feel blessed!

I also believe that I am  a part of the Holy Nation of God.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." 1 Peter 2:9-10 (NIV)
Happy Birthday July 4 to my great nation- USA!

Nicely said. Isn't it a shame we are the nation of "In God we trust" but he can't go in government buildings where we need him.
