Sunday's Reflection

I've been thinking this week about the power of God.

I believe that obedience to God produces love for His son, Jesus, and completes God’s plan to save the world. (John 3:16). Loving Jesus begins our journey of love, “truth and life”.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7 (NIV)

Accepting Jesus as the Son of God releases the power of God on our lives.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV)

I believe:

Obedience to God = Love for him and his son, Jesus.

Love for Christ = Acceptance of God’s plan of Salvation.

Acceptance = God’s power released upon our daily lives and a promise of an eternal life after this life.
