Spiritual Journey: Peace Over Chaos

I feel like the “world” keeps our lives in perpetual chaos. Chaos is everything opposite of God. His desire is to provide peace through his Holy Spirit, through his word and salvation through Jesus Christ. Satan is God's enemy. He's determined to separate us from our creator, to keep the lives of God’s children riled and messy. Hurt us, hurt God.

God guards our hearts when we seek to receive his peace.

“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” Philippians 4:7 (Amplified version)

God’s peace is all encompassing. Our hearts, minds, souls and bodies finds rest in God's peace.

“The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually)." Numbers 6:24-26 (Amplified version)

Whatever is going on in your life, give it to God. Take a deep breath and pray to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus (God’s son) and the gift of peace through God's Holy Spirit.

There is nothing like being filled with God’s peace. His residing peace is epic.

Blessings!

Our pastor today said rather than getting upset, just pray. Find that peace through prayer.
I am glad that you have found that peace.
Jesus calms the storm for his disciples now as well as then I believe.
The Father has seen me through so many upheavals that it would be ungracious to think He wouldn't now ... but sometimes I have to repeat late at night when the shadows close in, "My times are in the Father's Hand." :-)
