Death TRAP
I am participating in the Blogging from A-Z Challenge again this year. What is this mysterious blogging challenge you ask? Arlee Bird from Tossing it Out came up with this fantastic idea where bloggers post using consecutive letters of the alphabet for 26 days in April. It grew in numbers, and Arlee now has many helpers. Odd deaths happen, right? It’s sort of like being at the right place at the right wrong time. My A-Z 2016 blogging journey takes us down the road of Death by Oddity. Come join me.

In Beijing, just this year, a woman was found in a nonfunctioning elevator—dead. A maintenance crew had disconnected the power in the elevator because it wasn’t working properly, but didn’t check inside for riders. When the workers returned a month later, from a holiday, they found a dead lady, who had been trapped inside the elevator. There’s more in an article here.
Elevators make me sweat, just as much as scarves do and makes my heart pound out of my chest. Elevators are very…enclosed. They also move up and down, sometimes jerking like they’re getting ready to stop OR fall. I’m always hopeful for a good ending, where the elevator slows gently to its stop and the doors open.

So far I've never been stuck on an elevator and hope never to be.
